What happens when you call
We start by asking what you want solved: a new system, adding battery storage, a system producing less than it used to, or panels that need cleaning. For a new install we ask about your roof's age, its material and which way the main slopes face. Those details decide whether roof-mounted solar makes sense and how many panels will fit. For an existing system, we ask what the inverter display or monitoring app is showing.
Next we explain what each option means and what moves the price. The usual next step is a visit to your home to look at the roof, the main electrical panel and the meter. You get your quote by phone once we have seen what we would be working with. We work across Dallas and in nearby towns such as Irving, Garland and Richardson.
What to have ready before you call
- A recent electric bill, or a year of kWh usage pulled from your retail provider's online account.
- About how old your roof is and what it is made of, for example composition shingle or standing-seam metal.
- If you already have solar, the inverter brand and any warning light or error code it displays.
- The amp rating printed on your main breaker, usually 100, 150 or 200 amps, if you can locate it.
